Random Sites On the Web (randomsitesontheweb.com) is a collection of small interactive websites, games, and toys. There are no accounts and no sign-ups. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, and what you can do about it.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics (Google Analytics)
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which toys people visit and how they use them. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Data stored on your device
Many toys remember things in your browser’s local storage, such as your visit history, cursor choice, stickers you’ve earned, and game progress. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can erase it at any time with the “Clear History” button on the homepage or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Play counts
When you open a toy, the site increases an anonymous counter for that toy so the homepage can show which toys are popular. Only the toy’s name is counted. No personal information is stored with it.
Camera and microphone
A few toys ask for access to your camera or microphone. Your browser will always ask first. Video and audio are processed only inside your browser and are never recorded, uploaded, or stored.
Third-party content
Some toys load content from public services, such as random articles from Wikipedia or images from Openverse. Those requests come from your browser, so those services receive the information browsers normally send, such as your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to operate and secure the service.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
